Jess here – you might be able to tell, I like to talk a little more than Tyler. He’s quite an introvert, whereas I am what I would describe as an extroverted introvert. We still love him though, and know you will too. ;)
Tyler and I have been married for nearly 9 years and we've been together for 13+ years. Ty was my first boyfriend - I knew I would marry him super early on (and he felt the same ;).
Fast forward… aaaaaand we now have four kids: three little girls under the age of 7 (yes, you heard that right - it’s quite the girl powerhouse over here!) and our last (but not least!) our little man, Zion.

We’re just your average friendly Midwestern neighborhood family, here to be your new BFFs.
I discovered photography shortly after our first daughter, Arwen, was born. I picked up an old DSLR Ty had laying around, and began learning manual mode and settings.
I quickly fell in love with the art.

When I do something, I’m the type of person that has to do it 100%.
I was soon obsessively learning everything I could about photography. Shooting, editing, styling — all of it. Ty could tell this had lit a fire inside of me like nothing ever had before.
I wanted to do whatever it took to create the beautiful images I saw in my mind’s eye.
We then began actively investing in my dream, and upgraded my gear all at once (no big deal, just dropping literally $8k on the chance of making a hobby a business) so that I could become a legitimate business owner in time to shoot a friend's wedding, who, at the time, I thought was crazy for asking me. But looking back, I guess I’m thankful because it all led to this!
After losing my job in 2020 (thanks, COVID!) I threw caution to the wind and went full-time with my photography. Then Tyler showed interest in joining me, but we wanted to offer something extra… and so he started filming, and was soon just as in love with it as I am with photography. The motion style storytelling was like opening up a whole new world to him, and as a tech geek, he enjoyed the mechanics and process even more. Thus, he became my second shooter and videographer. The fact that Ty started pursuing photography, and later videography for me, in order to join me in my passion (which is now something he’s equally passionate and excited about) is quite literally the SWEETEST THING EVER.
More than anything, we want you to know that Ty and I work not only as a business, but a united front, and just as our family means everything to us, so does yours.

- Has read Harry Potter over 17 times. Not sure if that’s a flex or not… but I’m a Slytherin girl, hands down
- Lives in black leggings, cardigans, and hiking boots no matter the occasion. It’s a staple uniform
- Theater junkie. Can and will rap EVERY SINGLE WORD AND LINE of Hamilton and countless other musicals on command
- Hopeless romantic
- Lover of tamales
- If there was a brewery for Dr. Pepper, Tyler would live there. Forget water, even alcohol, he barely drinks anything EXCEPT Dr. Pepper
- Ranch goes with EVERYTHING. Pizza? Ranch. Tacos? Ranch. Burger? Ranch. Chick-Fil-A sauce is also appropriate for everything
- Speaking of food, fancy restaurants are fine and all, but give Tyler burgers. Always burgers. Burgers are life
- Knows football stats like he’s paid for it

- Loves chick flicks and sappy movies probably more than Jess does
- Casually builds computers for “fun”
- Loves to camp with the girls, A.K.A. “Fort Night” (not the game!), EVERY. SINGLE. FRIDAY. It’s their tradition! Best freaking girl dad ever
Outside of working weddings together and Ty working as a lab tech, we both spend most of our free time raising our girls. Our girls are our WORLD.
We're both musicians as well! I sing and play keys, Ty plays guitar.
We’re both into all things nerdy and fantasy related. Lord of the Rings is our fav but we’re also big fans of Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Game of Thrones of course.
Annnnnnd, when the girls are tucked in bed and the editing is done, you can find us playing PC video games together on the couch like a couple of teenagers. That’s our kind of playtime!
